Quick answer
VideoBatcher and Fresh Copies both help you make versions of content, but they have different prices and workflows. Fresh Copies runs in the cloud so you can post your own content across your own accounts without hours of editing, while keeping resolution, frame rate and the first seconds of your clip. Choose by testing the same original, checking the finished copies and deciding whether desktop processing or a browser workflow fits your day.
Price
VideoBatcher costs $99 a month or $990 a year. Its Agency plan is $250 a month. That Agency price is now listed, rather than coming soon. The Agency trial converts to $250 a month unless cancelled. Include both the subscription and the computer you use when deciding whether the local workflow fits your budget.
Fresh Copies starts at $19 a month for 1,000 credits, or 1.9¢ a copy when used for standard copies. Creator is $39 for 2,500 credits (1.56¢ a copy), and Pro is $99 for 8,000 (1.24¢ a copy). Agency starts at $249 for 25,000 credits. Higher Agency tiers offer 50,000, 100,000 or 200,000 monthly credits.
These are monthly prices before any tax added at checkout. Photos and standard videos use one credit per copy; 4K videos use 5. That means a 4K batch uses the allowance faster, without being reduced to 1080p. Yearly billing gives two months free, with credits added monthly. Compare the number of finished copies you need, not just the headline subscription price.
Where it runs
The current table lists VideoBatcher as Your computer, GPU recommended. Local processing means your computer and its available resources are part of the workflow. Check the supported operating systems and hardware before subscribing.
Fresh Copies works in a browser on Windows, Mac or a phone. Upload your original, choose how many copies to make and start the batch. The cloud does the processing, so there is no desktop installation and no processing app to keep running on your computer. You can return to the Queue to see the result.
Fresh Copies needs internet to upload and download, and accepts clips up to three minutes. A local tool may fit better if keeping processing on your own machine matters.
Trial and refunds
VideoBatcher offers 30 free generations and a 14-day refund window. The Agency trial converts to $250 a month unless cancelled. A generation allowance and a time-limited subscription trial are different things, so check which one you are starting and what happens when it ends.
Free trial: 20 copies, with no card required. You can try standard copies at full quality before choosing a plan. The refund window is 7 days on your first payment, minus the credits you used. It is not a refund window on every renewal, and it does not mean used processing is free.
Try a clip with movement, fine details and text. Download copies and compare them with the original, not just a smaller preview.
Quality
Fresh Copies keeps your original resolution and frame rate, including 4K. The first frame stays in the clip: we never cut the hook at the start. The edits are small real changes, and every copy gets a uniqueness check. In Auto, low-scoring copies are remade automatically. Keeping the source format and checking the output are separate parts of the job: neither should be replaced by a vague quality promise.
The table keeps the existing quality observations for VideoBatcher, including clearly marked test results or published output limits. Those observations do not mean every future copy will behave identically. Settings, source material and software updates can change the result.
The free copy checker accepts copies from any tool. It compares resolution, the opening hook, sharpness and visible differences against your original. Your videos stay on your device while checking. A uniqueness score describes the files being compared; it does not guarantee performance, reach or a particular decision from a social app.
Use the downloaded files for your comparison, not just a preview in either app. Watch the opening frame, then pause on small text, hair, fabric or other fine detail. Check a moving part of the clip as well as a still moment. Small edits should leave the video useful for the people watching it. If an account needs a different introduction or message, write that hook and caption for its audience too. Separate exports save repeated editing work, but they do not replace a reason to post on each account.
Teams
Fresh Copies has 1 seat on Starter, 2 seats on Creator, 5 seats on Pro and unlimited seats on Agency. Your team can keep creators separate, use numbered posting sets and mark individual copies as posted. The point is to spend less time working out which file belongs on which account, not to change who owns the content.
VideoBatcher lists 1 computer. Computer allowances are not necessarily the same as team seats. Check who can use each licence and whether people need access to the same local machine. Choose the plan around the people doing the work and the copies you actually need.
Where VideoBatcher has an edge
Audio pool (different sound per copy). 14-day refund window. These are reasons someone might prefer VideoBatcher; the choice does not have to favour Fresh Copies in every case. Look at the features you will actually use rather than paying for the longest list.
Fresh Copies needs internet and limits clips to three minutes. Its focus is a shared workflow for making checked, full-quality copies of your own content for your own accounts. Choose a desktop tool if local processing matters more.

Common questions
Is VideoBatcher worth it?
VideoBatcher may be worth it if its workflow and pricing fit the amount of content you make. Compare a small batch with your original and include the cost of seats, credits and your computer before choosing.
Is there a free VideoBatcher alternative?
Free trial: 20 copies. No card. Trial copies work on any videos or photos, including 4K at one trial copy each. Paid 4K copies use 5 credits each. It is a starting allowance, not an unlimited free plan. The copy checker is free to use separately.
Does VideoBatcher work on Mac?
We have not verified VideoBatcher Mac support here. Check its current system requirements before buying. Fresh Copies works on Mac through a browser, with processing in the cloud and no desktop installation.
Can I use the copies on TikTok, Reels and Shorts?
You can make versions of your own content for your own accounts on those apps. Fresh Copies keeps the original resolution and frame rate, rather than making separate platform presets. Follow each platform’s rules and only upload content you own or have permission to use. A file difference is not a promise about reach or platform decisions.
How do I compare VideoBatcher copies with Fresh Copies?
Keep your original file and run both tools on that same clip. Open the free copy checker, choose the original and then the copies, and compare resolution, hook, sharpness and visible differences. The checker runs on your device. Its results help you inspect the files, not predict how a platform will treat them.
Try your own content
Free trial: 20 copies. No card. Make checked copies of your own content for your own accounts, at full quality.
